As I mentioned in the email our BodyFit Health Club Programme has been specifically designed with you in mind. You may have had some back, neck, shoulder or hip problems in the past. You know how bad it feels when it hurts. And you want to do everything in your power to stop this happening again. Right?

Now you will be happy to know that this is one of the main goals of this programme… To stop you getting hurt. Now obviously we don’t have magic powers so we cannot guarantee you will never get hurt again. However, if you could even half the chances of getting a serious injury in the future, wouldn’t you be interested?
And there is research to back it up. Pilates-style core strengthening programmes significantly improve the long-term outcomes in people with history of back pain.
What if injury prevention is not your main concern? What if you just want to get into shape, feel healthy and finally give your body the care and attention it deserves? Then, this programme is also great for you.
You may have attended some exercises classes and programmes in the past but felt that it just wasn’t right for you?
See, with our Pilates classes we take you right from the basics and progress at your comfortable pace. We don’t rush you or force you to keep up.
This is all done in a friendly atmosphere by our highly-skilled physiotherapist Irene. Irene is also a formally trained Pilates instructor so you know you are in great hands.
In fact, I would go further to ask a rhetorical question: “Who would be more qualified to teach you Pilates in a safe and supportive environment than a physiotherapist who has undergone training specifically in Pilates?”
Let me emphasize again that the classes will be small, no more than 10 participants in a class. So you will get plenty of attention from Irene to keep you on-track.
These Pilates classes will start at 7am every Wednesday. Class duration will be approximately 1 hour.
Now, as I mentioned in the email we also offer you an optional extra (or the Premium option) if you want to take looking after your body and health even further. This is for those of you who want to be at the peak of your potential both in day-to-day life as well as in fitness and sport.
You get a chance to work with a celebrity nutritionist, Tarren McCall. Some of you may have heard about her already. She has helped many top athletes as well as ordinary people to achieve their health goals. These goals included successfully losing weight, gaining muscle, eliminating dangerous and toxic foods from the diet or simply feeling great.
She helped her clients achieve all that by skillfully crafting their nutrition programmes. There is no reason why you can’t be her next success story.

So with the Health Club Programme Premium you will get a one-on-one consultation with Tarren over Skype. During this consultation you will discuss your nutritional goals and needs and set up a plan of action. Remember, Tarren is famous for working out a nutrition plan for you so that you can still eat the foods that you love.
You don’t have to completely cut out all the “Oh-it-tastes-so-good” treats from your diet.
This means that you are more likely to stick to the new plan and achieve fantastic long-term goals.
Then for the following 12 weeks you will catch up with Tarren 3 times, once every 4 weeks to make sure that you are doing well and you are achieving your goals as planned. You will be able to ask questions if you have any during these follow-up session. You have a choice of seeing Tarren in person during the follow-up sessions or speak to her via Skype.
Then after that you will see Tarren every 8 weeks. At this stage you will probably need a little less “hand-holding”. Again she will make sure during each of the meetings that you are happy and you are getting the results you were hoping for.
Now getting your nutrition habits sorted under the skillful guidance of Tarren is not the only special add-on that you will get with the Premium package. You will also get a complimentary 1-hour therapeutic massage session every 2 months of your membership. These will be performed by a massage therapist at our Howick branch.
Whether you have a busy exercise routine, a sedentary office job or simply love to spend time in the garden crouching over your favourite plants… all of these activities and many more cause muscle stiffness and uncomfortable aching.
